Mr Wu:Hi,everybody!There will be a music show during the art festival.It’s this Saturday,5 November.The show starts at 9 o’clock with a folk music concert till 10:20.Then there’s a country music concert.It lasts one and a half hours till noon.After lunch,you can enjoy a jazz concert.It starts at 1 o’clock in the afternoon and finishes at 3 p.m.Then from 3:30 p.m.to 5:30 p.m.there is a rock concert.Don’t miss the classical music concert either.It begins at 7 p.m.and ends at 9 p.m.

Daniel:Hey,Sandy!Look at the poster!

Sandy:Yeah,there are different kinds of music at the show.

Daniel:Folk music is in the traditional style,right?

Sandy:Yes,and it usually has strong local colour.

Daniel:What’s country music?

Sandy:It’s about country life and cowboys.It uses guitars.They’re quite different from those modern ones!

Daniel:I see.What bout jazz?

Sandy:Jazz was first created by African American musicians.It always gives us something new because the musicians make up the music while playing.

Daniel:Do you like rock music?It uses drums a lot.Very exciting!

Sandy:Sometimes I find it too noisy!I love classical music,like Swan Lake.The classical pieces are always serious and have a lasting value.
