　　Do you know when Father’s Day is? It’s on the third Sunday of June. We call it Father’s Day, but it’s not only for fathers, but also for uncles and grandfathers. The idea of Father’s Day came from an American lady in 1909.Her name was Sonora Dodd. Ms Dodd wanted a special day to honour her father. Her mother died during the birth of her sixth child. So her father had to raise six children by himself on the countryside farm. When Ms Dodd grew up, she loved her father so much. Her father was born on June 5th, and she chose to hold the first Father’s Day celebration in Washington, on June 19th, 1910.Later the third Sunday in June was named Father’s Day.
