Today I am going to tell you about my first train ride.I arrived at the station and saw so many new things and heard sounds I had never heard before.

Inside the station there was a ticket counter and places to sit.At the ticket counter I bought a ticket. After this,I took a seat and waited until the boarding call.

When the boarding call was announced,I moved outside to the platform and boarded the train where the conductor took my ticket and directed me to my seat. The train horn sounded and the train started to move.

There were many different kinds of cars on this train. There were coach cars with large comfortable seats and large windows to view the scenery passing by.The resting car had tables for playing games and a counter to buy snacks and drinks.

When it was time for supper, there was the dining car.It was set up just like a restaurant with tables, chairs, plates and glassware.I placed my dinner order with the attendant and they returned with nice food.Sometimes they served ice cream after dinner.
